Intervention
The Intervention Committee focuses on engaging people who are actively experiencing a substance use disorder. The goals of this committee are to reduce harm, prevent the spread of disease and provide treatment and recovery resources to individuals/families dealing with substance use. Additional local resources related to Intervention can be found at Substance Use Disorder- Intervention and Substance Use Disorder – Family Support.
As a Committee of the Fayette Prevention Coalition
This committee has assisted with programs, such as Save a Life Day: Free Naloxone Distribution, Harm Reduction, Quick Response Teams (QRT), Law Enforcement Aided Diversion (LEAD) and Adult Drug Court.
A yearly plan is developed in September of each year with goals and programs that will help us meet those goals for the program year of October to September.
