Walk for Hope
A “Walk for Hope” is a walk or run, whichever you choose, that is meant to raise awareness that people in Fayette County can recover.
Our goal is to encourage community members that are in recovery, remember those who have lost the battle to substance use disorder (addiction), and support those that are ready to start their journey into recovery. We aim to decrease stigma surrounding substance use disorder and encourage Fayette County residents to seek the help they need. Recovery is possible.
At this event, resources are available with information on programs offered in our area. In lieu of a registration fee, we collect nonperishable food items and toiletries to donate to local organizations.
Our 4th Walk for Hope was on May 13, 2023 at the Oak Hill Rail Trail. It was a great success!
