The program can help with: Utility bills (past due electric, water or gas bills in termination), Rent or Mortgage (help with past due payments within the past 2 months), Education Costs (support with vocational training or other approved school expenses), and Groceries (food assistance is based on family size).
Important things to know – you must show documents like past due bills, income, ID and Social Security card. Household income must be within the federal poverty guidelines of 200% and those receiving assistance will work with a case manager for at least 90 days to set goals and find more resources.
