As a Committee of the Fayette Prevention Coalition
This committee has assisted with stigma reduction activities, such as the Walk for Hope, which is a recovery awareness walk. We also provide resources for local treatment/recovery programs.
A yearly plan is developed in September of each year with goals and programs that will help us meet those goals for the program year of October to September.
To help support individuals in recovery from substance use disorder, the State of West Virginia has partnered with CHESS Health to launch Connections, a free smartphone app that is scientifically proven to support patients in recovery by reducing relapse and promoting pro-social engagement.
